  • Streamlined review management: You can access and manage all reviews within the platform. There’s also a helpful option to hide reviews as needed and safeguard your brand.
  • Automated review collection: This functionality allows you to establish email and SMS workflows to ask your customers for reviews.
  • Improved search visibility: Product ratings will appear in Google search results. This could boost your store’s visibility and drive more traffic.
  • Interactive customer strategies: The feature allows you to share review reminders or special discounts to encourage customers to share their thoughts and drive more sales.

Note that this feature is currently exclusively available to Shopify users. This coincides perfectly with the shutdown of Shopify Reviews on May 6, 2024. Filling this new gap is a smart move by Omnisend.

2. Klaviyo continues to expand in new international markets

Klaviyo’s newest platform enhancement aligns with its product-led international growth strategy.

Currently, Klaviyo SMS is available in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, and France. However, expansion plans for Spain, Switzerland, Austria, and the Nordic countries are scheduled for later in 2024.

Additionally, Klaviyo will introduce its platform in French starting in May. This enhances support for international customers in French-speaking regions. This is the first time Klaviyo is available in a language other than English.

Intuit Mailchimp has revealed a new report “’The Science of Loyalty.” It explores consumer behavior and drivers of brand loyalty. Accordingly, it provides 12 actionable tactics for brands and marketers.

The study surveyed 4,000 consumers across the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia. Here are some of the major findings:

  • The report introduces a ‘commitment spectrum’ categorizing loyal customers from ‘inert’ to ‘fandom.’ Only 13% of respondents globally fell into the ‘fandom’ category.

  • Approximately 70% of consumers emphasize the importance of buying from the “right brand.” This indicates a desire for more conscious decision-making.
  • 97% of repeat purchasers reported that their preferred brand simplifies the buying process. This highlights the importance of a smooth shopping experience.
  • While 45% of repeat purchasers seek discounts, loyalty isn’t solely driven by monetary rewards. 87% emphasize brands’ ability to evoke positive feelings as a key loyalty factor.
